Ryan Letts
Facilitator
They/them/theirs
Ryan (they/them) is driven by deciphering the inner machinations of humans, interpersonal and cultural connections, and the philosophy of DEI. They have a Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies (with an emphasis in Deaf Culture) and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University. They worked for a time in the tech sector, running one of the company’s diversity Employee Resource Groups. Their passion for and experience with DEI was forged working in conjunction with the Deaf, disabled and LGBTQIA+ communities. They have several years of experience facilitating and developing DEI content for 8,000+ people, with a specific drive for sharing actionable and tangible upgrades to equity, accessibility and inclusion. Ryan’s deep passion for justice stems from their own experience as a queer, non-binary human existing in a family unit and world that prescribed other roles for them, catalyzing a need to deconstruct and dismantle the world around them.
As someone who grew up in the indoctrination of show choir and musical theater, Ryan often describes themselves as a more spiritual, self-reflective and introspective combination of all of the Daughters of Triton and Buddy the Elf.
