Munir (he/him) is a visionary product leader who has spent the past decade creating new technology products from the ground up. He has led innovation and process improvement teams in startup and enterprise environments across several industries including organizational culture, financial wellness, cybersecurity, and materials science. His passion for the burgeoning intersection of tech and DEI led him to found Swirl, where he partnered with C-suite and HR executives to make their organizations more human by enabling employees to build authentic connections across differences. Munir focuses on strengthening relationships with a data-driven lens to create environments for people to thrive personally, professionally, and economically.
Munir is an active part of the Philadelphia startup ecosystem, where he has mentored over 25 rising founders at the earliest stages of their entrepreneurial journeys. He holds an MS in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Northwestern University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to spending quality time with his wife and daughter and geeking out over sports, Munir is a traveler and foodie at heart who loves connecting with people and exploring cultures through cuisine.
