Training: Inclusive Marketing and Sales

The ReadySet Inclusive Marketing workshop provides organizations with the tools to approach marketing, advertising, and sales in a human-centered way. In this session, participants will learn about different forms of bias, how they manifest in writing and speech, and downstream impacts on employees and customers. Participants will be given concrete tools to evaluate their customer engagement assets with an eye for harm reduction and to support innovative and inclusive marketing and sales approaches.

This workshop empowers marketing and sales teams to build new norms through case studies and/or scenarios for content standards and to develop a collective vision for ongoing customer outreach efforts.

  • A framework for assessing content with a focus on reducing harm and the impact of unintended biases in content creation

  • Understanding how bias shows up in writing and speech, and tangible actions to develop customer-facing collateral in a more intentional and inclusive way
